My students are enthusiastic and love folks who break barriers. They are budding intellectuals and need resources to help them compete with the rigorous demands of higher education. I buy supplies with my own money, but laptops are a pretty penny. I believe in flipped learning. I have my students complete their homework in school so they'll have time to work on their major assignments. Current state exams are completed on computers and so few of my students have access to a QWERTY keyboard at home, which is a disadvantage. My students are high achievers and love learning even if they don't know it yet.
