Currently students are in a computer lab for most of their digital photography class. They are learning Photoshop and other adobe programs. We are fortunate to have the resources we do, but editing is only part of photography. The other part is shooting. My goal is to get them out from behind the screen, and put photography in action in our classroom. These light kits, ipad and Macbook, will help us set up a classroom lighting studio. Syncing the camera and lights to the macbook and ipad will immediately show students results for each light setting. Learning will become interactive and provide instant results. Photography is such an essential skill to learn, knowledge of lighting your subject properly can open doors to so many jobs for my students in the future. As well as teaching students the mathematical equations that go into lighting a subject. The digital world is moving quickly, having up to date digital technology will only advance our students and prepare them for the future.
