I already have plans to embed the use of the Chromebooks into my teaching and my kids learning. Currently we have limited access to computers that are not dependable and are shared among many students. New Chromebooks will be used for completing our district mandated blended math curriculum. Our English Language Learners would have greater access to on line curriculum to further advance their skills. This will help them develop skills needed to be learners and contributors in the 21st century and more prepared to enter the workforce where these skills are vital. Your generous donation will open the door to teach my third graders new and exciting ways to use technology in our reading and writing. As a teacher I would like to be able to use Google classroom. This would allow my students to complete tasks on the Chromebooks and have instant feedback. My kids are motivated to use computer programs, such as Google drive, to demonstrate their learning. Without dependable technology this isn't possible.
