Students at our academy of technology need materials to make artwork with! This is a special group of children who will become your future programmers and computer scientists. The magnet school is grades K-5 and I would like to be able to provide the each student with basic art materials to begin the school year. The ebony pencil is a special blending pencil that has soft lead and it will smudge to create changes in value. It will also get deeper in value than a regular pencil. Students can create ranges in texture and tones easily with this powerful little pencil. Markers can be used in a variety of ways. They can be used almost like paint. They can be layered to show the mixing of colors and can be used to show line, shape and color. They also need posterboard.
