My Culture Club students at Southeastern High School are a great group of rising young scholars with big minds, big hopes and big dreams of seeing the world. Not much comes easy to this population of students from Detroit, and especially not Educational Tours Abroad, even though thousands of students participate in these culturally immersive and educational group travel abroad experiences each year. Rarely are students in historically under-resourced areas like Detroit afforded the opportunity due to limited resources. However, the opportunity to witness new cultures firsthand is one that only enhances a student's enthusiasm for travel, exploration and lifelong learning. The potential it holds to motivate, empower and inspire and provide a much broader perspective is undeniable and priceless. In short, it's an opportunity for SE students to truly level up. Go Jungaleers!
