As a new teacher I am short on adjunct learning materials. I want to engage my students and create a strong foundation in STEM, so that they get an early start on these critical skills. Your donations of puzzles, building sets, geometric shapes, and magnets will provide my students the opportunity to engage in STEM activities and centers. Students will develop skills in problem-solving, and collaborative action. Children need multiple modalities in their learning in order to understand important and sometimes difficult concepts. These STEM materials will be used in whole group and small group activities and will honor the fact that each student learns differently.
