Students must be able to perform complex calculations in my Physics classes. While they can use their phones in their daily lives, they can't use them on exams or quizzes. Even though these may seem like inexpensive items for a student to buy, most of my students have parents who work multiple jobs to make ends meet. In an ideal world all students would have their own personal calculator but for many of my students, these are luxuries they can't afford. Success in our digital world requires a strong understanding of math and science. these calculators will greatly benefit my students in their ability to reach their highest potential.
