My classroom is a SWAS (School within a School) Gifted and Talented classroom for 5th and 6th graders. My students are profoundly gifted and excel in reading and mathematics. I have a very large number of students each year from 27-35 to fit in a very small space. Gifted and Talented students think differently and tend to learn differently as well. I need more space for them move, wiggle and collaborate with others, that is why I would like to get your help in exchanging my desks and hard chairs for alternative seating options. It would give us more space to move around and give my students what they need to be successful in the classroom.
