Students at Seven Pines LOVE to perform and are deserving of every opportunity to showcase their love for music. As I develop the music program, I hope to continually build on the opportunities that I am able to provide for my students to foster a deep appreciation for the art form. Through working with students, I have discovered the importance of learning by doing and reaching students in forms that are most natural and familiar to them. The human connection fostered in the music classroom builds relationships that will last a lifetime. If we truly believe music is universal and that making music collaboratively makes the world a more well-rounded place, then we must find ways to make the experience more accessible to our students and their learning styles.
