My students are an interesting mix and come from all walks of life. The vast majority of my students, however, come from impoverished backgrounds. They have difficult lives, but many of them really respond to the positivity that they experience when in school. They want to do well, and they want to succeed - they just need people to believe in them. I try to provide my students with a safe, positive, learning-centered environment, and I also try to provide them with the tools they will need to be successful in the classroom and beyond.

About my class
