These maracas, egg shakers, recorders, etc. would help enrich our classroom set of versatile instruments. We use small percussion instruments almost every day, and these instruments would add another great resource to our repertoire. The parachute and scarves will help with our daily movement and dance activities. These will especially be a great gift for my students with special needs. Small percussion instruments are a fun and easy way for students to learn how to read melodic lines, read chord progressions, and to practice rhythm patterns in a variety of pieces of music.
