The students in my classroom are unlike any other group I have taught. They not only challenge each other to give their very best, but they challenge myself to be the best teacher I can be. Throughout this school year, we have fought the battle of my kids being hungry, coming to school in unclean clothes, and some not having electricity. When my children step into my classroom, I strive for them to feel they are loved, safe, and respected. I have a very unique group of students this year, and I want them to know their surrounding community believes in them.
