I am a Multilingual Learner (ML) teacher in a small district, serving students across multiple schools, even though only one is listed. I have had the joy of teaching MLs from young kindergartners to high school seniors. While our schools are in a high-poverty community, they are rich in dedicated teachers and administrators who work hard to ensure students receive the best educational opportunities available. Because resources are limited, creativity is essential in making materials effective and meeting diverse student needs.
