Magnifying devices will provide my students the ability to have access to instructional tools that will enhance student learning. Students will be able to view text in print and on the computer. Larger monitors will provide students the ability to access more information at one time which will aid in reading comprehension. It will also allow them the possibility to see multiple text features and online features in one viewing. A portable device will allow students to take devices to each subject area class which will improve content skills in English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies. I want my students to experience the joy of learning without fatigue or increased stress levels causing learning barriers. Students need to be able to access computer based programs and assessments without excessive scrolling in order to assess their true abilities. Devices in this project will allow students to focus on content and learning standards by lessening frustration caused by visual impairment needs.
