My classroom is about students preparing to be self-directed, lifelong learners. I'm an advocate, guide, and assistant in their never-ending journeys to develop the skills for success in academic, personal, and professional settings. I teach in a diverse, large, comprehensive high school in the East Bay. My Government and Economics classes seek to connect student passion and interest to the application of the content in their real lives. I coach my students in the requisite skills and mindset to tackle the challenges that college and adult life bring.
