These basic supplies in my classroom, including dry erase boards and memo books, will allow students to be fully engaged in their learning and really focus on the skills they are practicing. Knowing they have supplies available for their academic ventures; will enable them to be more assertive in their quest for knowledge. Instead of worrying about whether or not we have enough markers for the whiteboard activity students will be able to focus on what we are learning. Due to the fact that my scholars are young, messy classrooms will inevitably happen. Being able to use paper towels and tissues to clean up the classroom throughout the day; rather than waiting for custodians at the end of the day will allow my students to stay focused on what they need to be learning, rather than something that spilled.
