Hi everyone! Thank you for your support in helping my students travel to Washington, D.C. last April. We were able to raise enough money, and our students enjoyed every minute of our time in our nation's capital. They visited the Lincoln Memorial, White House, and Supreme Court and participated in a Mock Congress Workshop in preparation for Capitol Hill Day where they met Massachusetts senators Ed Markey and Elizabeth Warren. This year, I am hoping to take a group of sophomores and juniors to visit Rome and Athens in April 2017, enhancing the learning they did as freshmen in my World History I class. I view travel as critical in the development of these young individuals. Please take a moment to read about our trip to Rome and Athens and consider supporting our project below.
