My classroom is home to a wonderful group of third grade bilingual students who are learning to read and write in English while continuing to grow in their native language. They are curious, kind, and incredibly motivated to learn even when the journey is challenging. Many of my students are English language learners who are working hard to build their confidence in speaking, reading, and writing. Each day, they show up ready to try, to grow, and to support one another. We celebrate small victories together like reading a sentence fluently or writing a full paragraph and those moments are big wins in our classroom. They inspire me every day with their effort, their joy, and their belief in the power of learning. With your support, I can provide the tools and resources they need to become strong, confident readers and writers in English.
