My students are curious, energetic, and hardworking high school students who bring different strengths, experiences, and learning needs into our classroom each day. Many are still building confidence in mathematics, but I see their determination when they ask questions, try a new strategy, or keep working after getting an answer wrong. My classroom includes students with disabilities and students who benefit from additional academic support, so I work to make learning accessible while maintaining high expectations for everyone. Many of my students come from historically underfunded communities, which makes access to reliable classroom resources especially important. What I appreciate most about them is their willingness to grow. I want my classroom to be a place where students feel supported, challenged, respected, and confident that they are capable of succeeding in Algebra and beyond.
