My students here in the bootheel of Missouri come from different backgrounds and economic situations, but our thirst for knowledge is the same! We begin the year as "retired" Kindergarteners and immediately start the push to be independent, confident , life-long learners! No matter the individual struggles, our classroom goal is the same! Inspire your friends, inspire the world!!! However, even at school, our access to technology is limited! We have 50 minutes a week in a lab to work on IReady and a 50 minute keyboarding class. We would love to put our research and keyboarding skills to use on writing and speaking projects, but we have no classroom computers!!!
