The materials we are requesting for this project will help make the "Lion King Kids" production a success. The microphones will help our students project their voice in our large over 100 year-old auditorium. The performances will be opened to the community, parents, and local donors. Our children are eager to showcase their arduous and diligent creative work. The flameless candles will be used for the performance of the song "He Lives in You" and in the show's finale. This ongoing project, through the Disney Musicals in Schools, helps our students realize and share their artistic ideas, appreciate and interpret these ideas and present them as a polished production. The Disney Musicals in Schools foster many of the school goals and learning standards that are part of our students expectations. Participation in this collaborative project gives our students life long skills that will enable them to be successful in real world events.
