I work in an inner-city school located in an impoverished area. Most of my students are living at or below the poverty line. Even the most basic materials are in short supply, which means reaching into my own pocket every year even for things such as paper and pencils. Despite the obstacles, my students come to school eager to learn each day. There is never a dull moment in our classroom. I have 25 energetic 4th graders getting ready to take on the world! We laugh, we learn, and we work hard. But we still have a lot more to learn, and we need a lot of materials and supplies to do that learning. We could never do it without the support of people like you, who so generously donate to the many teachers' projects here on Donors Choose.
