Students in my school are often required to read nonfiction books with special text features such as photos, captions, charts, etc... These National Geographic selections meet those requirements. Students also need a variety of reading topics to choose from as their interests vary greatly. The books here include several science subjects covered in the school curriculum. Others cover interests that many students have, such as sports, history, and technology. These National Geographic selections will be a great addition to our school library. They will help our students meet their nonfiction reading requirements as well as provide knowledge about various subjects.
