I am very lucky to be teaching English to the most awesome students at University City High School. When people ask me what I like about U City, the answer is easy--it's the students. And while the students are amazing, what I really love is how our students are so accepting of each other, regardless of race, culture, religion, or gender. It really does seem like one big family. That is especially the case with my period 2 Pre-AP American Literature class. As you can see in the classroom photo, they are not shy about posing for a picture and showing their pride for U City High School! Each one of these students (and all of my others) is so gifted in his or her own special way. The class you see pictured is the brain-trust behind this project. I really hope that I can make their dreams come true and give them a nice and comfortable place to learn English this year!
