Donations to this project will help increase my students' attention while reading. Being five to seven years old their bodies are in motion or fidgety quite often. Reading on stability balls is a great way to get their mind to focus on what is really important; becoming an avid reader and truly knowing what it means to have a LOVE for reading. Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body! What better way to start building their foundation of skills for reading by sitting comfortably and staying focused! Studies show that as children constantly move their body to maintain their balance on this moving seat, they are able to focus more easily.
