My students with special needs would love to learn to play the recorder. Their hands are small and their ability to cover the holes completely is very difficult, making it impossible to play the correct notes. These Nuvo recorders would make it possible for them to play recorder along with their peers. The recorders having silicone tabs that cover the holes for them, like a key on a flute. These special recorders cost five times as much as the recorders the other students use. This is a fee that would be impossible for their families to pay due to the fact that they are from a lower socioeconomic status. We will use the recorders to learn songs together, make up some of our own songs, and even work on our music reading skills. Please help me provide this opportunity for my students with special needs. Thank you very much for your consideration.
