In today's classroom students and teachers are using more and more digital components to enhance and expand learning. It is the new normal for teachers to use technology to teach, and in our classroom it is normal for students to use technology to practice the skills they are learning, and to apply them in different formats. Students in my classroom will be using Chromebooks daily to access individualized math and ELA lessons that help bring them to grade level content. We also have students using Chromebooks to access thousands of online books targeted at enhancing reading skills, comprehension, and fostering the love of reading. These three Chromebooks will help my students become successful, independent scholars in charge of their learning path. It is so important for students to feel empowered, and having access to technology in the classroom is a step closer for them to reach their goals.
