I teach first grade at a year round elementary school. My fifteen "Happy Campers" LOVE school, they LOVE learning and they LOVE exploring new nonfiction concepts and going on adventures with fun and exciting fiction characters through reading engaging texts. Together we gather around the campfire to read and respond to literature as well as to recommend new texts to each other. We are always looking for "S'More" fun books to help us learn more and to foster our love of learning.

About my class
