All competitive swimmers use fins to develop tequnique, increase their strength and cardio. They also allow swimmers to focus on particular aspects on their stroke, breathing and hand position. Most high school teams we compete with train with fins, which in many ways can give them an advantage at meets and competition. All sports equipment and swim attire adds up and is costly for my athletes. I have never requiredy athletes to purchase fins, knowing the investment is a lot to ask. I would like to to provide my swimmers with the same opportunities as their competitors and having these fins to reuse every year would be a blessing and an amazing surprise for my team.
