Health and Physical Education at Norview High School is about more than playing sports or completing workouts. Our mission is to help students understand that physical activity should be a normal part of everyday life. We want students to discover activities they enjoy, build confidence in their physical abilities, and learn practical ways to incorporate movement into their daily routines. Through fitness, strength training, team activities, and health education, students are encouraged to focus on personal growth rather than simply comparing themselves to others. We teach students that being active does not require being an athlete. It requires finding ways to move that are enjoyable, accessible, and sustainable. Ultimately, our goal is to help students develop healthy habits they can carry beyond high school. By making physical activity a regular and positive part of their day now, we hope students leave Norview viewing exercise not as something they *have* to do, but simply as something they *do* as part of a healthy life.
