Our school's population is 96% Hispanic. However, they are a very diverse group of students in terms of interests and personalities. Each one of our students has a different back story, and English Language Arts is the perfect class to let creativity flow and find out who our students are as individuals. My goal in the classroom is to create a loving, engaging environment, that lets our students reach their full potential. I've always believed that these experiences in the classroom are what shapes children and has the possibility to create life-long learners, who will go on to shape the world in an endless variety of ways. Every day, I see a student who has infinite potential and I begin to imagine all the ways he or she will go on to create a life for themselves and to help others. I want to be the one that helps them do this in any way I can.
