Your contribution has brought joy, excitement, and meaningful learning opportunities to my students in ways that go far beyond traditional instruction.\r\n\r\nPlay is an essential part of language development, and these board games have created a natural, engaging way for students to practice speaking, listening, reading, and vocabulary skills. Through play, students are using language authentically—asking questions, explaining their thinking, following directions, and interacting with their peers. This kind of learning builds confidence and helps language feel purposeful and fun.\r\n\r\nWe have been using the games during small group rotations and partner activities. One memorable moment was during a game-based vocabulary review, where students worked together to describe and guess words. I saw students who are typically hesitant to speak become more willing to participate, laughing and encouraging each other as they played. The conversations happening around the room were rich with language practice, collaboration, and critical thinking.\r\n\r\nWhen the games first arrived, the excitement was immediate. Students were eager to explore each box, asking when they could start playing. There was a buzz of anticipation, and it quickly turned into focused engagement once they began. They saw the games not just as fun, but as something special that was theirs to use and learn from.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we are incorporating these board games into a larger language development project focused on storytelling and communication. Students will be creating their own games using vocabulary and sentence structures we've been learning, allowing them to apply their knowledge in creative ways. This next step will deepen their understanding of language while giving them ownership over their learning.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has helped create a classroom environment where learning and play go hand in hand. Your kindness has made a meaningful difference in the way my students learn and engage each day.\n\nSince receiving these new resources, my students have been using the flexible seating options during both independent and group work. One moment that truly stood out was during a recent reading workshop. Students were able to choose seating that made them feel comfortable and focused—some curled up with a book in soft seating, I noticed a significant increase in both their stamina and enthusiasm for reading, and our post-discussion was one of the most thoughtful we’ve had all year.\n\nWhen the materials first arrived, the excitement in the room was immediate and genuine. Students walked in wide-eyed, eager to explore the new seating choices. There was a sense of pride and ownership as they realized these resources were meant just for them. It created an instant boost in classroom morale and motivation.\n\nLooking ahead, we are continuing to build on this positive momentum. Students are currently working on a collaborative research project, and the flexible seating is allowing them to choose environments that best support their learning styles—whether that means working quietly alone or engaging in small group discussions. We are also focusing on building independence and responsibility as students learn to make thoughtful choices about where and how they work best.\n\nYour generosity has not only enhanced our classroom environment but has also empowered my students to take more ownership of their learning. The new sewing materials and supplies you helped fund have made a tremendous difference in both the quality of our instruction and the enthusiasm of our students.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new machine, their faces lit up. For many, it was their first time using a sewing machine. They were excited, curious, and slightly nervous—but that quickly turned into pride as they completed their quilt squares. The experience has been valuable, and the sewing machine has significantly impacted the learning process.\r\nBefore using the machine, the idea of a quilting project may have seemed difficult. However, the machine allowed for quick and accurate piecing of fabric squares, streamlining the process. This increased speed and precision allowed for a focus on the creative aspects of the project, like selecting colors and patterns, instead of hand-sewing.\r\nLearning to use the sewing machine introduced a practical and rewarding skill, and confidence has been gained in operating the machine safely and effectively. This will be useful for future sewing and crafting.\r\nThe sewing machine's impact extends beyond just technical skills. It fostered a sense of accomplishment and pride in completing the quilt. Seeing the project come together smoothly has been satisfying.\r\nThank you again for providing this resource. All of the materials donated helped my students create projects that were not only successful in teaching them more about the process of creating art, but also lead to the creation of beautiful final pieces.\r\n One project I would like to mention is the animation cel project. Animation cels were used in animation before the introduction of computer software. Each cel was a movement in the film that was inked, painted, and then photographed. After photographed on a background in succession, the cels were put together to create the film. While it takes thousand of cels to create an animated movie, each cel is a work of art. \r\n The students were very excited to use the new materials.
