I want to educate my students. I want to be able to use technology in the classroom so that they are engaged and excited about learning. This technology will allow my students to experiment with different online tools that will enhance their education and learning process. I love to use technology for online games and quizzes. It's amazing how willing they are to take a quiz when they can use technology to complete it! The Amazon Fire tablets will help expand my students overall academic experience, It will open the door to other resources that can help them become a proficient mathematician. We will use the tablets to download different apps for quizzes, games and research projects. I especially want my students to use the tablets for webinars that are available from NASA about engineering and space, which will hopefully peak their interest in STEM subjects. The places we can go with math - projects that involve engineering, architecture and designing will become a reality with technology. I want my students to be college ready when they leave the 7th grade. I determined to familiarize them with techniques that college students use everyday. I will use online tools to keep their learning interactive and fun.
