I am a teacher librarian with about 425 students who visit my library on a weekly basis. I have avid readers and future writers. I have scientists and even some teachers! All of my students love to read and they even squabble over who gets to read the book first. We are a diverse school with many different languages being spoken daily. This great diversity brings curiosity and a richness of tolerance and of learning. Our student attendance is high, 95%. Teacher attendance is at 98%. We are a low-income school but with HIGHLY motivated students who love to read every day!
