The students are excited for advanced mathematics, but we are unable to provide for them to succeed. Our students cannot approach high-stakes tests with the same skills that their peers can just because they cannot afford these calculators. Many of these students will go on to take AP Calculus in the following year, where they will need to be comfortable with graphing calculators to solve problems and earn college credit. Giving them the tools will be powerful, not only for the work they can do in class but in their math confidence. Our students will be able to achieve STEM success in ways they haven't in the past.

About my class
