We use the whiteboards every day to model, write and draw. They are a staple to our classroom functioning and have helped the students build out their paragraphs. This week they all made a model and wrote about how intermolecular forces help keep bugs afloat on water. AP Bio used the boards to model the phases of mitosis and write about it. \r\n\r\nStudents noticed immediately when the boards were assembled and were thrilled!! I got lots of comments about the \"new boards\" and our classroom feels much more professional. \r\n\r\nI hope to have students build out their visual models onto larger assessments of learning, and that the collaboration we are doing corresponds to larger classroom discussion.
