Students learn best through inquiry. This grant will provide the 5th grade students at my school with hands-on science experiments to make learning science fun! I teach fifth grade in a rapidly growing community. Our school has over 1,000 students - which makes us one the the biggest elementary schools in our state. My students come from diverse backgrounds both economically and culturally. We, the fifth grade teachers at my school, teach science in rotations. It is my responsibility to teach matter to all the 5th grade students at my school.
