I am requesting these items for my classroom because I want my students to feel like their classroom is their second home, "a home away from home." When students are given the proper resources, they feel more confident in their work. Given that the school holds a Title I status and I will be serving a Special Education class, these donations will be rightfully used and appreciated by my students. Students will use the in-class printer to print their work and pictures for projects and class assignments. I will use the laminator to beautifully display their work. Students' hard work will be protected for a longer period of time when taken home, so they will be able to cherish forever. Students and I will use the Polaroid Mini Pocket Printer to capture everyday moments in class and out in the school's garden. Pictures will be displayed all year long and taken home at the end of the school year. Again, thank you for your time and consideration. It will be my first year teaching, so I am starting from scratch. All other supplies will allow me to create a healthy and vibrant learning environment for my students.
