My students are curious, energetic preschoolers who learn best through hands-on play, movement, visual supports, and engaging sensory experiences. Many are developing early communication, social-emotional, and self-help skills while learning how to build relationships and navigate the classroom environment. Our class includes children with diverse learning needs, developmental delays, and many English language learners. Despite the challenges they face, my students are incredibly resilient, kind, and eager to learn. They thrive when learning is interactive, meaningful, and accessible. Every small milestone—whether it’s communicating a need, joining a group activity, or gaining confidence in a new skill—is celebrated in our classroom. I strive to create a supportive environment where every child feels successful, included, and excited to learn.
