Having various seating options in a classroom opens up a wider range of ways for students to learn and communicate with others. Not all students learn well from sitting in traditional desks in rows and my students deserve to be in the best position to learn and succeed. Having a variety of seating options allows my students to work with their classmates while encouraging communication, collaboration, and building positive relationships. My goal is to create a classroom with different areas around the class for various learning activities. Many students enjoy and excel academically while working in groups so this flex seating allows for that on a daily basis.
