I love teaching math to young adults, especially to students who are from disadvantaged neighborhoods. My students are wonderful and want to learn. Most of us have struggled at least once in our lives, but my students have more struggles than most of us. Plus they must try to learn in a classroom with no air conditioning which can be quite challenging. This year I will be teaching Geometry Block (94 minutes of math daily) and Geometry Regular. In order to help ensure that my students have the tools necessary to be successful in their mathematical discovery, I have posted some Projects on donorschoose.org. (I just found out about it.) Any help you can provide would be appreciated...if not now, then maybe in the future. Thanks. Ms. Massa
