Last year, we implemented flexible seating in our classroom and it greatly improved my student engagement. Students were happy to come to class and I genuinely saw a difference in their demeanor. We need more storage to house our items and cushions for more flexible seating options. The extra shelving and storage will directly contribute to our overall classroom organization. Who doesn't like a tidy and organized space? We also need basic supplies so that my students come to school feeling prepared for all of their projects and assignments. We need the markers and paper so that my students do not have to feel stressed and about having to supply it themselves. We also need sanitizing wipes to keep our classroom clean and safe for all students! We need the anchor chart paper to help guide our learning. The anchor chart paper helps the students remember what was learned in class and also makes them feel like they are a part of the learning process. We create all our anchor charts together and I love seeing the students refer back to them for reference. They are such a powerful learning tool!
