My students range in grades from Prekindergarten through 4th grade. They attend an urban public school in New York State. Many of them have learning disabilities and limited resources at home. My students depend upon me to teach them how to use computers and technology for learning. They have limited resources and technology at home. Some of my students have used technology in the past to play games. I have to be creative in teaching them how to use technology to learn, solve a problem or create something entirely new. I want to show my students that through the use of technology almost anything is possible. In the past, some of my students disabilities have prevented them from being able to fully participate in class. I know that with the right technological resources all of my students will be able to have access they need to to have the kind of twenty-first century learning experience they deserve.
