We are currently getting ready to transition into a new school building! This project will help create a warm and inviting classroom for these students. My students rely heavily on visual and hands-on materials. With these materials my students will be able to grasp the materials easier as they experience it in a more functional format. Students will be able to use the manipulatives to solve problems they may face in their everyday life. I am also looking to provide sensory items to help stimulate the students. These materials will give these students the opportunity to be stimulated while being engaged in learning. Students may have an easier time staying focused on lessons when they are provided with items to stimulate them. The goal is to help students become more functional and independent each and every day!
