My students attend a Title I school, they receive free or reduced meals and they come from extremely challenging backgrounds. In addition to the economic limitations they face, my students are also all learning to speak and read English as their second language. Despite all of the adversity they face, my students come to school each and every day with a smile on their face and a love for learning that you can see from the look in their eyes.
