I have been doing yoga for around 12 years. The impact it has had on my life has been tremendous and I am working to bring all aspects associated with the benefits of yoga to the youth I work with at The Bayshore School. Over the summer, I attended the Youth Elevate and Girls Elevate trainings, so that I have the tools, curriculum, and knowledge I needed to bring yoga, mindfulness, and social-emotional learning to the kiddos I work with. To full actualize my vision, my students need yoga mats so they are not practicing on the floor and have visual awareness of their own space.
