Pre-K is a time for learning, fun and exploration. Pre-K is the first formal learning experience for most children today. This first experience can be overwhelming and somewhat scary for many children, but it doesn't have to be that way if they have engaging, hands-on materials and activities to participate in and learn from. My students are ready and willing to learn and take in as much information as they can about the world around them. They come to school sharing their story...a story of laughter, pain, happiness, sadness and every feeling in between. But the best gift each child gives to me at least once throughout their day, is a huge smile of excitement when they are able to master a new skill that they have been working so hard on to learn!
