Hello! I am a school social worker at an elementary and a middle school in my district. My goal is to have a hygiene/personal care closet for my students at each school. This closet will include items such as soap, toothpaste, deodorant, etc. These items will be available to any student in need, whether that child is face to face in school or remote. Many times students may not have the needed items at home to practice good personal hygiene. With this closet available, I would be able to provide my students with these items. This could increase self-esteem and confidence within students.
