These materials will make a difference in my students' learning because with flexible seating they will be able to sit in a seat that best suits them. Flexible seating is good for students health, confidence, and comfort. Students will have choice in where they sit which will help them feel empowered in my classroom. Flexible seating allows students to move; they can rock, bounce, lean or stand all which will increase oxygen flow to their brains. Keeping students active during the day in little ways will increase their attention and keep them more alert. They need balance balls, a comfy couch and bean bag chairs. Assisting me in raising money for this project will help me towards my goal of having a happy and thriving first classroom!
