I have the privilege of working with 150 seventh graders as they navigate the awkward years of middle school. From ages 12-16, the students you are choosing to help are full of unyielding optimism for their future. Over 90% of these incredible students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch and face many other obstacles in their lives. Despite the barriers these students may face, they work hard to embrace the nature of scientific inquiry. These students go through what can often be one of the most emotional and difficult times in their lives and deserve the same opportunities as their peers.

About my class
